The biggest tech companies in the world have all moved into tent hotels.
According to data from the Gartner Group, the top 20 companies in terms of total revenue in 2018 had nearly twice as much revenue per square foot as the next most successful tech firms.
The data shows that the number of square feet of hotel rooms is increasing at a rate of 5 percent per year, which is more than twice as fast as the growth rate for all tech companies.
But the trend is not sustainable.
Growth is a relative term and, as the market evolves, it will shift to a full-blown tent city.
That’s why the data shows how big the tent city will be in 20 years.
